Dari ke-3 bahasa itu, newLISP lah yg gw rasa paling familiar. Maklum, blom lama bermain-main dengan Haskell. Terus terang, ini tool yang sangat menyenangkan. Tidak seperti CLISP (Common LISP) yg mungkin terasa “akademik”, newLISP menggabungkan the power of LISP dengan kemudahan yg disediakan bahasa-bahasa lain seperti Python & Perl.
Fiturnya antara lain :
- Cross platform (Windows, Linux, MacOS, dst)
- Interfacing dengan C library
- Built-in CGI & REST HTTP web server
- Support UTF8
- Bisa buat executable (tanpa runtime extra, kecuali di Windows perlu msvcrt.dll)
Reva Forth dan Factor sebenernya juga ngga kalah menarik … hanya gw blom terbiasa dengan stack-oriented language

Lagi iseng2 Googling soal Lisp, alhasil nyasar kesini.
Ini luar biasa menarik. Biasanya, orang mendesain CPU menggunakan VHDL atau Verilog. Nah, ini menggunakan Lisp.
“My goal is not a full featured Common Lisp implementation, but a Lisp dialect which is good enough for writing applications like games, without the need to do all the low-level handlings like in C. While the application logic will be written in Lisp, special hardware functions and performance critical tasks, like sound generation, will be implemented in hardware and available with primitive Lisp functions.”
